Always check who's interdicting you, because players don't even have to have murderous intent - they can be tired/not paying attention, and there is a bug where players may be displayed incorrectly on sensors with an NPC icon.

This bug is still not resolved. There doesn't need to be any unusual character in the CMDR's name, the game just occasionally fails to fill the name in. Even if the CMDR is in your own wing.
