Re: A little experiment with paint

I think you overestimate the amount of work it represents. I'm sure it's just one extra variable to add to an existing formula. Oh, very likely, but if may also take more than that. At the end of the day if we ask everyone here to list something that they feel would impact the game in a positive wa...

Re: A little experiment with paint

Yes, it was supposed to impact the likelihood of getting scanned by the security ships etc as well. Not sure if that's in the game or not. It's not at this moment. But some dev mentioned few weeks ago that paint state may affect some things later. If they follow through with this I will be very imp...

Re: A little experiment with paint

It used to show wear and tear on the Paintwork, but I haven't noticed it since using a Skin I bought, certainly used to do it with the Default skin. My old Hauler used to look like a proper transit van :D *EDIT, got some pics from Gamma NewPaint.JPG oldpaint.JPG Wow, that is amazing detail for a si...

A little experiment with paint

So a fellow CMDR and I were having a chat about the game and I mentioned that had noticed that you could open the repair tab of station services and selective repair all your ships systems. I mentioned how one of those items you could select to repair was the paint. This raised some interesting ques...

Re: Thoughts on the ASP

I waited until I had about 10 millions in the bank before I got mine. That covered for the first batch of upgrades, plus the insurance and some cash to spare. I kept my Cobra, though. Ahh, yeah, I like that idea of having a backup ship to mess around with, but I feel that the long term of this game...

Re: Fix for matchmaking in private groups

I saw my first hollow box the other night bounty hunting at a Nav in Ethegreze. I was so excited, I tried to open comm and say hi but Astra was being disobedient and refused to comply. By the time I *shudders* manually (ICK, as if) opened comms he/she had already jumped away.

Ah well, next time.

Re: Thoughts on the ASP

I can not wait until I get my Asp, I am currently about 1 mil into my viper and I love it but i long for the extra slots for exploration. What is the starting price point to kit the asp out to a workable point?
