Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

I can't help but hear the title of this thread sung to the tune of Pulp's 'Do You Remember the First Time' ? The Thargoid ship was actually in FE2. It was only flyable using hacked saves, but on some of the spying/bombing missions to bases belonging to the other side you could see them on the ground...

Another heartfelt recommendation for Iain Banks's sci-fi stuff. They really are very good indeed. Beautifully written, highly imaginative, and shot through with a black sense of humour. Start with Consider Phlebas and read in order of publication, although I think The Player of Games is my favourite...
