Re: My little Anaconda mail-slot checklist.

As long as you feel the need to duck when you go through the slot you should be fine, whether landing gear is deployed or not ^-^

Bonus points if a conda is passing you in the opposite direction at the same time ;)

Re: Anaconda explore build.

Extra fuel tanks only cause the nav computer to plot shorter jumps, regardless whether you have a full tank or not. And I have never been anywhere that is more than two jumps in range of a scoopable star, might have to deviate once but that's the most of it. The key thing here is the trade off. I a...

Some good builds there: I find that: - 7B fuel scoop works well enough - an extra 64T fuel tank or two also gives you a nice buffer if you have a run of non scoopable stars or scoopable but hot stars - multiple afms repair each other, and a couple of heat sinks should be sufficient if you are carefu...

Re: Anaconda?

The conda feels like a barge to begin with until you get used to it and upgrade its thrusters etc

I kept my Python as well as it is a good complement to the conda being able to dock at outposts etc and you can often transfer kit between them till you can afford to fund them both

Re: Anaconda?

The problem with being aligned with any PP faction as a trader is you are more likely to get interdicted which may be the last thing you want when you have a cargo full of palladium [emoji6]

Re: Shiny New Anaconda!

Congratulations and welcome to the Conda club ^_^ I liked the Conda so much I ended up buying a second one, rather than going for a corvette/cutter sidegrade But an all round build that can be used for trading/light combat is here: http://bit.ly/1negK6p For heavier combat just throw in a few more SC...
