Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Finished up bounty CG, will probably head back toward Sol and see about earning my Sol permit--probably via bounty hunting in a Vulture.

Spent a while in a Hazardous RES, made 700K pretty quickly, then realized I might be kill-stealing. As soon as I wandered off from the other CMDRs, and solo'd a Gunship, a second Gunship and his Python wingman decided my little Vulture needed to die. I'm thinking I should have winged up... Does joining/creating a wing share the kills at all? Would be nice if it split/shared/multiplied the value a la Firefall.

Is it worth the trip from Azrael to Kaushpoos, or is this event about over? Last time I missed Robigo (DOH!).
