Very good question, if the CMDR is in my factions system but is allied to another faction I would ask him/her to leave, if he/she ignores the request then does the "combat zone" rule apply, it's always best to talk first.

Have only been in solo once when the seeking luxeries at Tenche was running and I nearly wiped out my shieldless Asp on a fellow Morbius CMDRs anaconda in the letter box. Often go out into open but not trading just for a tour around in a Vulture you never who may bump into.

Good luck with the "steel seagulls" CMDR it looks like it's taking off, but in the meantime you better get your squad over to Lugh your capital ships are taking a hammering by superior Imperial and Alliance pilots.

An Asp coz it's so flexible 88 cargo with beams, multicanons and medium rails great for running rares and defending yourself. Sold the viper when the 1.1 heat management issue cropped up.
