I don't really understand your problem. You will have to activate SLI in the NVidia control panel and it will be totally transparent to the game, no need to change anything, other than setting everything to maximum. I have the same setup, 2x Asus Strix 970 in SLI and it it's totally smooth at 2560x1...

I found gimballed C3 cannons today. Now I rule the skies in my vulture with a beam and a cannon, both gimballed. Made about 1 million in a RES within 30 minutes, Pythons, Clippers and two Annies...

I'm German, living in Taiwan, just turned 50 last weekend. I enjoyed Elite on the Amstrad and Frontier on Amiga.
