Re: Heads-up for Jaques visitors

Indeed, seems to be more straight forward approach. Chances are if you're following that path you'll miss the dwarf area.

Heads-up for Jaques visitors

Just remembered this while talking on the Discord channel so I thought I'd make a little heads-up post for those about to go visit Jaques Station. And anyone else for that matter who might be scooting about around there. There's a massive layer (red area on the map) of L-/T-/Y-dwarves looming betwee...

Alien mega-structure!

Clickbait titles FTW! Anyway, came across this weird gigantic ring anomaly around one planet. Has anyone else seen these? I'm guessing it's just a GFX glitch, seems to be a lot of those in this current version. I did some flybys but didn't dare go through in case it happened to have collis...

That is my main concern, dying before selling the data. I would seriously hate losing it all. After selling, not so much of a big deal.
And I have a Viper stashed away at one station, although its guns are probably obsolete by now.

Re: Life expectancy

Damn, sounds like things have really gone fubar back there. I'm picturing the situation in my head as a riot-like chaos with escapees from an asylum for the criminally insane running around screaming and attacking anything and everything in sight  But no cargo aboard my ship. I even stripped th...

Re: Life expectancy

I have just returned this Sunday after gone exploring for 4 months. On the way home I wasn't interdicted once. Guess it's bit of a game of luck as well. But knowing my luck... Some kind of escort thing would definitely be ace since all I have is harsh language. And one heat sink. And yea, I'm...

Life expectancy

After reading all these horror stories about the NPC's wreaking havoc on players after the 2.1 update I've started to wonder what actually are my chances of making it home alive in my unshielded/unarmed Asp   That being said, I'm still so far away, in addition to my slow progress, th...

Starless layer

Well, it has stars but significantly fewer than the surrounding areas. Does anyone know the purpose of this layer? It spans pretty much over the entire galaxy at -20 to -50 Ly below the Zero-plane except for the immediate core region, where it may or may not be present. The density of the stars make...
