Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Greetings, CMDRs. My name is CMDR M. Norfeldt, but you can call me Mike. I have been playing for about a month, now, and I have mostly been playing Solo. My main interests are exploration (my main credit-earner) and trading/mining, so even the THREAT of PvP has turned me off of playing in Open. I really don’t want to waste thousands of credits or weeks of exploration because someone finds it fun to jump people. But I do want to interact more with other players that share the same interests.

As for my progress in the game, I have worked my way through a Cobra Mk. III, a DBX, and now an AspX, all kitted out for exploration. I also have a Viper for Combat (I see the rebuy screen a lot whenever I try to go bounty hunting), and have turned my old Cobra into a trading/mining ship. I also want to get into a Keelback for some mining, and to maybe try out the SLF system.

I most often play in my Oculus Rift headset with an Xbox controller, so if you send a text message to me and I don’t reply, I’m not trying to be a jerk, I just can’t get to my keyboard. But I’ll happily answer voice comms. Since I have been playing on Solo, I’m not really used to using the Comms panel yet.

I am hoping to help out with the Mobius factions when I can, with whatever help an explorer can be. My next goal is to head out to Colonia (haven’t decided if I’m taking the neutron highway or doing it the old fashioned way), and then maybe on to the core.
