I picked up Elite: Dangerous w/ Horizons about a month ago and I am loving it! Almost addiction level.. I have been collecting all of the ships that I have purchased instead of using them for trade value. So far my garage has a Sidewinder, Eagle, Adder, ASP Scout, ASP Explorer, Vulture, and my current ship is a Federal Assault Ship.
I amassed most of my funds playing Solo Play around my starter system. I took a liking to the Bolg system at the Moxon's Mojo station because it reminded me of Moxxi from Borderlands, haha, simple enough I guess. After getting my Sol permit, I decided to move there (with my ships) and see what it has to offer. My alliance is mainly with the Federation with the rank of Chief Petty Officer.
I started off mainly doing cargo and data missions along with "Massacre the ***** pirates" type missions, but did not start bounty hunting until I got my Vulture, and ohhh how I have been missing out. I do not know what I want my next ship to be, regardless, I'll need many more credits to get there.
I have been on Solo Play the whole time but wanted to branch out into a PvE community to take the experience to the next level. I found out about Mobius while looking various tips and tricks which landed me here. My first impressions of Mobius excited me as I mainly enjoy co-operative combat against the environment.
