Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Greetings from Vancouver, Canada, Sol I've requested to join the Eurasia server, since I mainly play in the mornings.
Looking forward to some respectful multiplayer on this server. I've only been playing ~50 hours, currently in the process of outfitting my Vulture. Haven't tried any "wing" missions yet...actually, I've only ever seen one or two real players in the official open server, so hopefully I'll meet more players on Mobius that would like to tackle a few missions together. And maybe teach me a few things

I grew up in the 80s and 90s, and I used to adore the Wing Commander series, so Elite Dangerous is definitely my kind of game. I play in VR, and the immersion really blows me away.

Thanks I don't have any friends who play ED, so looking forward to meetings some people here. Any good way to meet other commanders? Not sure how many players I will actually meet out there in the "black void"...
