Intro

o7 CMDRs,
CDMR Isaacs here, newly joined to the Mobius group.
I first played Elite on an Apple IIGS at the wee age of, heck, 10ish? Been a career Space game junkie ever since then. Picked up E:D back in late 2014 but didn't quite settle into it.
A recent Hulu binge of Dark Matter with the wife and an experiment with using a DS4 controller on my laptop brought me back.
I picked up Horizons and have been digging the new additions with planets and the like.
I used to play EVE before E:D, and started E:D in Solo mode based on my understanding that smiliar *cough* aresholes *cough* erm, players of low moral fortitude existed.
My recent return to the game came with a lot of forum searches and I discovered Mobius. I decided I'd like to play in a less vacuous universe and maybe work with some people to acheive common goals.
My playstyle is fairly all over the place as I'm exploring each facet/occupation of the game.
Right now I've got 4 ships in the stables:
Viper III outfitted for bounty hunting in RESs (I'm pretty low skilled in combat)
Cobra III: General mission/dropship for hunting skimmers
Dolphin: 6 PAX exploration build for shortish range (<500LY) tourism missions
Keelback: currently set up to try out mining, will reconfig to maybe replace as a dropship/light carrier, need to recoup some capital first.
Not in any power play.
Grinding rep with Feds to get the ships
Light moral opposition to empire
I'd like to wing up for mining, bounties, maybe some group exploration if that can even be a thing?
