Hi everyone, CMDR Akiblo here. I've been playing Elite Dangerous on and off now for a few months and i'm enjoying myself so far. I stick to bounty hunting mainly along with the odd Robigo run here and there. So far I have a Vulture, Asp Explorer and Fer-de-lance. I'm currently pledged to Zachory Hudson although i'm considering defecting to get myself some nice prismatic shields. For the time being I do bounty hunting in Wolf 46 Haz Rez sites. Feel free to add me in game and say hello :)

Greetings and welcome to Mobius, Commander Akiblo

Please feel free to add your name to the In game friends list thread, and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already Image.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

Finally, if you are interested in being involved, go here to see information about our player group faction, the Order of Mobius (based at Rafferty's Mobius station in the Azrael system). We have our own Discord (voice and text chat) servers for supporters of Mobius, as well as our own Order of Mobius Twitter feed.

Welcome to the group, commander Akiblo.

Great fleet you've got there! :D

If you find yourself in the area around Azrael (Mobius' home system) and want to do some BH, look me up. ;)

Thank you both for the warm welcome :) I've not had the chance to join a wing yet for BH although it does sound fun. I notice JohnLuke that you're in the US. Would we be able to meet ingame or are we on seperate servers? (i'm from the UK).

I work kinda weird hours, so I'm in game during times that are UK friendly. Because of that I play in Mobius group, where the Brits hang out. ;)

I'm on during your evening time on the weekends. I'd be happy to walk you through BH in a wing and kill some stuff.

I would appreciate the help, thank you. My hotas unfortunately doesn't have enough buttons for the binds I want (i use a thrustmaster hotas x) but it's no real problem. I can use F1-F4 for wingman controls (select wingman's target and so forth). In case anyone else is reading this with the same hotas as me, i'm happy to post my binds for you.

Nice pick on the wingman F1-F4 buttons. That's what I use too. :)

I typically log in around 8-9PM in the UK on the weekends. Hope to see you then.

I'll be somewhere within about 50ly of Azrael, ready to hit a Haz or High RES.

If you have a mic, I recommend having TeamSpeak setup and ready to go.

Thanks, i'll be on this evening with my trusty fdl. One last thing, if I setup TeamSpeak is it preferable to use push-to-talk and will it work ingame? I have never used TeamSpeak before.

Ah.... the FDL. Fun damn ship!

Feel free to log into the Mobius server in TS anytime, and get a mic check from the guys hanging out in Riff-Raffs pub. That way you'll know that you've got it all setup and ready to go.

It is preferred to use push-to-talk in TS, to eliminate background noises..... like my dog barking or wife asking when the hell I'm going to be done playing. ;)

It will work just fine while playing E-D, since it's a separate program. I just turn off wing voice-comms in game, so that I don't transmit an echo.
