Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Dear all,
The current membership limit for Mobius PlayStation group is capped at 1000.

The Mobius administration team are currently working on a solution and appreciate your patience.
In the meanwhile, please continue to fill in the forms and steps as much as you can on page/join page.

There will be updates as soon as we have news.



SOLUTION: NEW GROUP

If we’ve already had your application details (from step 1), there’s no need to resubmit them.
You just need to follow steps 2 & 3 from our newly updated join page.

Those steps are as follows:
Send MobiusPvE-2 a Friends Request, and once that has been accepted, apply to join the in-game group.

If you find you’re having any issues following these steps, please feel free to contact us via our forums (specifically, here).

Gutted! That was tonights plan after submitting my forms this morning. I hope there is a way of extending the cap.

Most likely solution would be the formation of a new group.
From past experience fd has set these limits just under the point of "Where stuff starts to break".
So not an easy fix.

Now anyone can start or join other groups, if you make plans with someone you should be able to create a group and play in it.
you would really need to use third party coms just meet and find others anyway.
even on pc with nearly 20x this number of users has the issue of "space is big mmmkay"..

To bad, I just filled in all the needed forms etc... this is a real bummer... don’t want to play in open play. I was happy to see a group like this exists.

Aw a shame, I hope something is sorted soon, sent all my registration in last night, of course I see this AFTER I do so :p

Savage lol. I put in my registration just yesterday afternoon and joined the ps4 community. Looks like a great group.

So do you guy's ever clear inactives or should we persue other peacefull communities to join? If there are any lol, hadn't really looked as I'd already heard of Mobius

Is it FD or does Playstation have a friend cap at 1,000? In order to join the private group in game you must friend MobiusPVE on Playstation.

If it is the latter once someone is confirmed to be in the in-game group can MobiusPVE unfriend that person on Playstation and the person still remain in the in-game group?

No.

If you remove the PSN account from your friends list, you are automatically removed from the in-game group (& vice versa).

Interestingly, this doesn't seem to be the case for smaller groups.
