For this it is perfect :)

Pretty much this.
I already have the other 3 and haven’t thought of getting another ship for sometime. Didn’t like the Beluga’s looks much and not really into passenger game play. So I guess I might as well spend my credits on this and then use it to make the credits to A-rate and engineer it.

Dawg finally wore me down and I bought a Spoiler. It came with a Type 10 Defender Attached. :P

So impression is its better than the Conda as Tor said for handling, although jump range suffers. Best I can get is 29 ly. Still working on the Weapons. And I need to beef up the Bi-Weaves since a 6 is small.

Other than that, its fun. Will engineer it more today.

class 8 shields on mine.

Almost 1k mj worth but that's after like six boosters.
Think I'm going to go get them the thermal treatment as well.

As for jump range. best I'm seeing is <19, less than my corvette.
it's a battle ship after and I don't intend to gimp it with D class and downgraded modules.
Although a class 7 plant would probably do for power now that I think about it.

But honestly I could drop a few optionals for larger fsd and pds.
Also FD should at the handling in SC. it's a copy paste from the t9 and quite agonizing.

I got mine with Reactive Armor and HRPs. 6A shields for the moment till I go around all the engineers to pimp my spoiler. :)
With g5 FSD I get a bit more than 25ly. If I put the 7A SCB and the 8A SG it will be slightly less specially after my visit the Jean....
Shields are at 1K now with 6 HV G5 SBs but with 8A G5are over 2.5K

DD3 Thrusters for now. It is not too bad. Like my Anaconda. Will go to Palin for DD5 in the end of the engineers tour. Perhaps I can test drive it against some Xenos over there.
SC cruising is....painful

Hope to have finished engineering it tonight and then, when the war starts, we can wing up in Njiri :)

And as for speeds.

I get 202ms with two pips to engines, 220 with four, and about 280 boost.
That's only with Dirty 3.
That's fairly comparable to a stock vulture in straight lines speed, slightly higher boost on the vulture yes.

If you can't fight with that you need to quit, like now.

It is an interesting ship of limited use. My T-10 got slightly over 3000 MJ shield strengh and survives well in the conflict zones. Especially if you take a crew that supports to additional power pips. The T-10 feels like a big ASP Explorer. It can fire best forward even with turrets but is turning too slow to keep anything in sight. In this case the Anaconda is more useful by fireing in all directions easy.

Has anyone tried an exploration build for this? Might get a decent jump range with the FSD engineered to grade 5 and most of the gear D-rated. That, at least, would be a reason for me to keep it.
Aim to please; shoot to kill.
