I've finally gotten around to uploading a screenshot utility I started a few months back - this is available for download at https://github.com/ablewhite/edscreenshotutility. Basically, this installs as a Windows service that sits in the background, waiting for BMP images to get saved to your screenshot folder. Once it spots one of these, it auto-converts the image to either .JPG or .PNG and optionally deletes the original BMP to save space. It comes with a taskbar app that allows a bunch of options to be configured, including:
- Which folder to watch for BMPs
- What to do with said BMPs when found
- Which format to convert to
- JPG compression quality
Hope some of you find this useful!
