I'm very surprised to say I spend most of my time mapping systems. I'm still trying to work my way back to Imperial space from some godforsaken Federal dump I think I'm still about 100ly away from Achenar. I basically run around scanning systems as I go and taking out pirates (well apart from the couple of vipers that tore me a new arse). It's really fun and I'm making decent cash to upgrade my little sidewinder, still looking for better drives to increase my jump range though.

The quicker I get to Imperial space the better as far as I'm concerned......

I think I'll grind a bit more cash through trading and then buy an exploration sidewinder.. max out power and get the best FSD possible.. perhaps run it without any cargo space. The question is if I should move to another space before getting the tiny ship, it could be a pain going back 200LY or whatever to retrieve the type-6.

Moving around Aiabiko, Cehmaku & LHS 64 doing trades & missions in hauler. Seeing if how the reputation thing works until I can get a cobra mk 3

I started out in Aiabiko, first did trade missions for a while. I made some money and picked up a hauler and outfitted it with mining equipment and tried that for a while. Moved up to the Cobra and decided to do some traveling and ended up in SOL, where I am presently.

Anticipating a total game wipe before launch day, I have been trying as many activities as I can to get a feel for all of it. I have only been successfully interdicted once since I have been playing and have not done any combat. I noticed that last night that there where two warzones in the SOL system last night so decided, I would check it out.

Went to the warzone and saw many ships in the area but could not find any bad guys. Shot a Federal ship and was quickly killed by all in the area.

thought I would do a couple trade missions and accepted one not knowing I needed a permit to get to the system the equipment needed to be delivered to. Need to read the mission then look at the map to make sure no surprises.

Going to try out some bounty hunting or pirate stuff tonight I think.

Got Team Speak up and running last night also, working on my somewhat final button layout now, lots of buttons lol.
