Other than that...so far, the graphics look a lot better, without the washed out shadows.

Oh, and you can now switch to a second monitor without the main game minimising. You have to click on the icon in the taskbar to switch back to it but it's an improvement.

Lots of nice things, yeah, but I can't believe the number of stuff that broke on my machine. For instance I can't Alt+Tab out of the game anymore (can't even take the task manager to the front), the cursor and the selection are off by 200 or 300 pixels in all the menus accessed from inside the game (main menu, options, and so on), and I can't hide the HUD anymore. Also interdictions bring tons of stuttering, and at some point I was interdicted a few seconds away from a station, and when I looked for the station, once I was out of supercruise, it was so far away I couldn't even see the planet it orbits.

Stuttering's still not fixed. Couldn't end task as the game stuck in place. Took three attempts to log out.

But on a plus side I got to do my first text chat. With Commander Mobius.
Had to go to the control bindings to set up a button for quick comms. Then I ended up getting my lasers out as I bound it to one of my keyboard keys because pre flight check didn't recognise the primary fire button on my HOTAS. As we're in a non PvP group then I suppose that didn't matter. Bought a Viper.

I bought a hauler, a mining laser and a refinery to give it a try. I then went to a resource site in Dahan. Supercruised there and dropped out...no asteroids anywhere...shit loads of ships...fired on in seconds and managed to boost away with 64% hull left.

Am I wrong in assuming resource extraction sites are somewhere you extract resources? Is Dahan too rough a neighbourhood? Still doesn't explain the complete lack of asteroids.

My throttle controls got all reversed half way through the session, very odd, and then after about 15 minutes it kicked me off the server.

No matter what I tried I could not get the Throttle back to the way it was, hopefully just a glitch. not going to explore any further as I have work in less than 6 hours.

Default Where's My Cobra??

In the change from beta 2 to 3 ... I've lost my Cobra and I now have a basic Sidewinder, based at Azeban instead of wherever it was I left the Cobra.

Please can I have my Cobra back?
