Hmm try these systems all in the same sort of area down in Empire Space - Got all the A rated parts for my Anaconda from these 3

NLTT 8653 - Seamans Landing
Sak Manka - Impey Vision
Saisiyat - Dalgarno Ring

I have been looking at an Annie real hard the last few days, but I have not pulled the trigger because like a lot of earlier transition phases I cant get it out of my mind that I would be better off with two ships. I would be keeping my Python or Clipper for combat and docking a Type-9 at my normal trade location. Having traded up what are your thoughts? Was changing over to the Annie worth it?

I used to RES hunt a lot in my Python - after quite a few hours in the 'Conda in RES sites (Note I don't use turrets) I think the 'Conda is as good as if not better than the Python in RES - it's definitely better in Combat Zones and as for the trading - with 400 cargo space in my multi-purpose build I don't miss outposts at all :)

I've not lost it yet - but the thought of a 20M Insurance hit does make me wince - I still fling it about like a mad man in asteroid belts though lol :)

I have a request for advice as well.

I'm thinking about taking my 'Conda into a CZ.

Will this survive longer than my Vulture? (My vulture is A spec, I have SCB's but they don't last forever.)

I suspect that would survive longer than a vulture, yes. Though what I might suggest is consolidating some of those C0 shield boosters into A0 shield boosters, and making yourself room for a few chaff launchers. Even (and perhaps especially) on a ship as large as the Anaconda, popping Chaff when things get a little too hot can 1) cause you to take significantly less damage and 2) cause some less persistent bogeys to find easier targets.

That's just been my experience, though. I love Chaff launchers :D

Also: I'm considering whether or not to merge a few of these Anaconda load out threads...Hmmmmm.

I've been reading a lot about Turret Conda's, what's the scoop on that?

That depends on what you'd like to know? I've had all turrets on mine before, and all gimbaled as well. What, exactly, were you wondering about?

Well, Anaconda's are slow to turn, ships in CZ's are strafing you and zipping around, and seemingly even big ships like Pythons and other Anacondas are turning faster than you can.

With turrets does it lessen your need to be nose to them all the time?
