Make no mistake; I know who the culprit is. E: D (and my other games) played flawlessly up until this damn Windows Creators update. And a quick google search for "tearing after windows creators update" confirms this.
I'm sure MS will be rushing out fix soon then.

Right.
So after Windows Creators update I can no longer have multiple screens.
And it's not enough to turn one of them off either.
No, I have to disconnect one or the other physically or I get screen tearing on either screen. It's more pronounced in some games than others, and Elite: Dangerous takes the biscuit.
I suppose those with multiple identical G-sync screens won't have this issue. But it's a no go for a PC/TV setup like mine.
Thank you Windows 10 creators update.

Different issue but it should fit here. This morning E:D Oculus Rift graphics appearance is like some sort of mirage effecting Stations, other ships more like heat rising off payment during a hot summers day. I know there was a Windows side update but that had nothing to do with Graphics, anyone know why this mirage like effect is appearing?

The only change I made to NVIDIA Control Panel is favour performance in Power Management mode and I did that a few weeks ago but the darn mirage is still there today, bugger it.

You haven't accidentally hit the lense adjuster on the headset?

No, thanks eh!, did check that and all connectors if it is still there may call back a restore point.
