Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

No idea how I ended up there but I noticed that Logitech have updated the software and drivers for the X52/X52 Pro (June this year).

Has anyone tried them yet? I recall all the grief with the X52 with early Windows 10 and the constant checking for new drivers from Saitek/MadCatz and I'm not sure if I want to make the leap.

Yes, the argument "If it's not broke don't fix it" is a good one but playing with new stuff is a terribly powerful itch.

Haven't updated mine since April 2016. Definitely a case of "If it's not broke don't fix it" for me.

OK, so I did all that with fingers crossed after making sure I had a roll-back windows snapshot.

Simple install, all working. If you do it you can copy your old profile to a new location. It all works as before because the programming side is just a rebadge as said by Lori. The only real difference is that access to the setup (LED brightness, dead-spots etc) is through the Devices and Printers section of Control Panel only, no shortcut from the notification area icon.

I'll keep an eye on Logitech and see if they ever change the software in a useful way.
