Wondering who is starting ED via the Oculus Rift App or from the Desktop not that it should make any difference. I have done both but now from the Desktop most of the time.

I've always used the desktop and let it start up Oculus. After starting up the game again, I saw ED listed as a recent app in Oculus Home. I clicked on it to give it a try and it said the launcher was outdated. I'll just keep using the desktop.

View today's Eclipse of the Century in virtual reality http://www.cnn.com/2017/08/20/vr/how-to ... index.html I'm going to have to do this after I watch it live and there may be other sites to view. I saw this one reading the new this morning just wanted to share. May be time to take the Aspx to Sol. :)

I have two ED licences perhaps because I was playing a couple months before Horizons or I made a mistake when I bought Horizons anyway I have a PC in my workshop out back and sometimes play ED 64 Bit there. Oculus starts Horizons so had to create a shortcut to play Ed 64.

Had a look through my logs and got a lot of "BAD" too. All seem to be referring to "bad_isopacket_status" whatever that is....

Yours was a recent purchase as well wasn't it ?

I get that bad isopacket as well, just before the Hardware health is BAD......

I had a "camera catastrophic failure" in yesterdays log.......

I have sent a report and a logs zip to support, so I'll see if they can figure it out and what they say......

There are so many variables it could be anything, as said I just want to make sure I do not have a duff one......

Yep, just checked and I got it 22nd July.
I'll keep an eye on the logs, see if I get anything other than those isopacket errors.

It just worries me that I get the Hardware health BAD the moment I turn the computer on and it initiates.....

Not playing or doing anything...It's just sitting on the desk in standby.......

Tracking and actual use seem OK......

*Edit*

Daily email to support with more info.....

And they used this line in the reply.....

"Please bear with us a little longer. There could be a delay in responding due to high volume, but we will get back to you as soon as we can."

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....................
