Careful.
I don't have experience with the products you linked to but We once did order a heli cockpit Sim frame with controls form a supplier that seemed quite popular in the Sim community. I wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

Personally I would actually check the physical product out before buying it if possible.

Unfortunately I don't think that is possible......

Currys do them but not in store....Online only......

All the reports I have read don't seem bad.....Plus I could modify stuff like the height etc......

The cheap (£80) chair I have at the mo is falling apart and creaks all over the place.....Padding has gone in arms and arse.....

I really would like the other one...Not cheap with everything added over £800.....

But I just don't have the room and cannot make the room without throwing out a very expensive L shaped desk set up.....

Also after more hunting just now I can it for about £250......Which is almost £100 off.....

Didn't one of the other A-team members build their own rig?

Good luck with your new command chair though. It does add to the immersion factor. :)

All with the chairs already!

Currys are pretty good at returns if you don't get on with it (unless you have modified it).
By modify I suppose you would want yours to.....you know, like Dawgs......

I'll stick with Herman Miller...

You guys worry me sometimes, but the belly laughs get me through...

Kharma is the real builder, I did build a new desk\hotas rig, but it was just thrown together with hardly any plan, a basic idea and 40£ worth of 2x4" and screws (screws cost 25£ and I have enough leftover to buid another three) and at least one medium sized headtrauma.

Kharma, I have some experience with the Playseat. The one I used was a friends and was setup for racing. It was great for him, but not for me.

Seems my "North American" figure was not taken into account when they put this one together. Found it to be rather tight for my svelte frame. Other than that, construction seemed good, but I question the fabric they used on the seat, as I am not sure that it would hold up to repeated in and outs. The platform that held the shifter was basically the same as what would be used for the stick and throttle. Although it was okay for the throttle, I am not sure if it would hold up to the weight/abuse of a Warthog and our "grunting" style of play.

Might want to do a little research over here -> https://www.reddit.com/r/hotas/
