No reason to go 4k unless it's closer to a 40", and no a tv is not a monitor.
For a 32" curved 1080p is no good, in fact for desktop monitor even at 24" it's pretty poor.
You should want at least a 2560x1440 screen at that size.
Ultrawide is sweet, but has issues with certain titles.
But a lot less issues than trying to setup and use surround vision on three screens.
As for desktop workflow one 32" 3440x1440 has replaced 3x 24" 1080p screens and I haven't missed them for a second, and for the few older or bored games that doesn't work you can always set the resolution on the ultrawide to 2560x1440 and it pixel maps perfectly, no distortion. Elite isn't one of the games with issues.

I'm leaning to say 4k, but again go big.
Personally I'd say screens are so 2015.
Get a rift.

I've pretty much 'standardized' on the CoolerMaster Elite 110 as my Mini-ITX case for sub-US$30, shipped. when on-sale -- especially since even the top-end cards are now available in Mini-ITX from either Gigabyte or Zotac. Unlike the Silverstone SG05 and similar, the 110 takes a standard ATX power supply.

As always with a Mini-ITX 'cube' (or 'near cube'), the side fans pull cool air right into the GPU on one side, and right into the CPU on the other. I've also had no issue mounting non-platter drives with velcro, so I can use the HD mounts for platter drives. I've fit at least four (4) 2.5" drives into both Mini-ITX cases as a result.

I really haven't used anything other than the GPU slot in a long, long while. While YMMV, the only thing I've seen become an issue with bigger cases ... is cooling. Having cool air directly from the outside on both the GPU and CPU from the sides, and the front flow go over the drives, I've really experienced no cooling issues since I went the Mini-ITX route in 2010.

In fact, I'm still using my H67 Mini-ITX boards and i5-2xxx SandyBridge CPUs that I bought back in 2010.

I have a 28" 4K and the difference in quality from a FHD is huge. Downside is that the GPU (1080Ti) is working harder and louder. a 2K 27-28" would be my advice. Even my 980Ti was able to run Ultra on the 2K one without too much noise.

Not that I am playing nowdays... It is all about the baby... Walk him, bathe him, feed him, sleep him.... So by 23:00 I am dead and going to bed.

Should've kept it in ya pants..... :D

I can't really afford to go larger on the 4k front...Prices rocket to about £600 or more for larger....

The 2560 x 1440 is tempting but still about £400 for a 32"

I think I might leave the monitor out and save the £400 for a sale down the line or something.

I'll just stick with the 27" 1080 I have now.......

Or will I......The night is young......

:D

*Edit*

Or £400 will get me a 35" Ultra-wide 2560 x 1080 @ 144hz

*Edit*

Balls no vesa mount...

Even here in Norway we get pretty decent Black friday deals online for things like that, and it's just far enough away for you to get some more moolah and ply the wife with some distractions.

That's when I ended up with my new tv, quite pricy, but it was $2000 off sticker... :| :P
I now I'm weird and all, but I wouldn't really consider a screen under £600 as worth having.

Oooh and take pictures.
Daddy want's some tech porn since it's not like I'm close to putting anything together soon myself.
