I guess I'm pretty lucky that my HOTAS fit on the keyboard drawer nicely with the keyboard in the center.

Easy peasy.

Wide enough it looks 'manspread compatible' too ...
At least for those on the D-List, and not needing the A-List measure (like Bill).

Or just ...
Mak'n it so :P

That's a nice desk, JohnLuke!

My layout is similar (this thread), but on the desk instead of on the keyboard drawer. My problem is that the letter keys should be centered on your body, with the number pad off to the right. I can deal with it as is when I can see it, but I'm worried about typing in comms while wearing and HMD, and not even being able to even glance at the keyboard w/o putting on glasses. Not that I've done much typing in comms the past year.
It's time to give this another go.

I have heard worse ideas....

Puts a new light on the 'Does an Anaconda float?' question (https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthrea ... onda-float).

Is that an Anaconda floating there? No, can't be - far too big.

Thanks, I love that corner desk. 8-)

Agreed that the letter keys should be centered with your body, but I've been typing in E-D with this setup for a long time and am comfortable with it. I haven't typed much yet with the vive on, so I added a few dots of Velcro to a few keys to help me adjust to blind typing. Once I get used to it, I should be able to remove the Velcro as well as the strange looks from my wife. :P

I've just tried the Windows on-screen keyboard. Provided you've selected the text entry box on the comms panel, clicking the letter on the OSK will enter letters. If this works with a VR headset (my pocket money won't stretch that far), there are OSKs available that are far superior to the Windows offering that might be better. Stephen Hawking has been using one for years.

I love a big desk (grow up, people). :D

I've also added some little rubber footies/bumpers to some of my keys and around the frame. It helps, but ...
It's time to give this another go.

Might as well not stop there, but ask yourself ... does it blend? Surely, if Buckyballs do (so much for the Run!) ...
