Best UK or DE based hardware website?

Postby GlobusDiablo » Tue Jun 21, 2016 9:26 am

Sweden and Norway are usually too expensive compared to the Danish krone.

So I sold my old gamer looking to buy a new one based around the MSI GTX1080 GAMING X. But none of the outlets in DK have the card, and estimations say mid July if I'm lucky.

I haven't tried buying pc abroad before, but I'm willing if you guys have recommendations. Preferably a site with good warranties/service.

Pros and cons welcome. :)

Are you looking to build yourself or a pre built one? I've always used overclockers for my pc bit awesome customer service and quick delivery https://www.overclockers.co.uk/
Have had a few bits and bobs from Scan as well they were ok https://www.scan.co.uk/

Not sure really. Probably pre builds, as some places have longer warranties on pre builds which makes them easier to sell down the line.

Thanks for the links, will give them a look. :)

www.aria.co.uk is one I have used a lot of times and again great service, I have an account manager with them and going via him sometimes gets an even better discount.

I can recommend the aforementioned overclockers.co.uk and also novatech.co.uk

Both have served me well neither are the cheapest but customer service has always been great.

If you are looking for have pre-built had a few people recommend pcspecialist.co.uk

Cheers. Oddly it seems that pcspecialist.co.uk links to a Danish version of the site, that I've never heard of before. Will give it a look.

Edit: my bad. it looked Danish, but wasn't. :)
