Sounds sweet.
But I suppose I'l suffer on with my mere 980ti for one more model cycle...
And maybe build a complete new box in 2017.

Only 3 weeks away. I'll still wait until I hear more about the VR options and then get them together.

Only the desktop version it seems. Will have to wait a bit for the laptop version I guess

Yeah, still on the fence about the HMD, but based on early reviews (gtx1080 twice as fast as titan X for VR loads), I'll be building my new rig around one of these 1080 babies. Probably an MSI. I've been very pleased with their twin frozr cards until now.

My 780 has been due for an upgrade for some time. I'll be happily slapping a 1080 into my rig, though 2x1070s for the price are very attractive.
1080 on the 27th, x56 on the 30th. Might actually get some gaming in Elite done before the move.
I actually sat through the twitch stream to see my hopes confirmed. Was worth the cheesy one liners and sporadic clap attacks.

Nah... Send the family for vacation, you stay behind and with the moeny you save buy the 1080. You also have time to test drive it
