It's a miracle! AMD has finally fixed a longstanding driver issue with microstutter in supercruise!

here and enjoy buttery smooth spaceflight once more! Perfect timing for those participating in DWE. This should make exploring a much nicer experience than it would have been otherwise for those of us with AMD cards.

At Last! I can return to Elite. I havent been able to play since I paid 120 for all the expansions etc. Like 5 months or so. Ive missed a lot.

Did a quick test, locked at 60fps in supercruise (VSYNC always on, 60Hz is my monitor's refresh rate). They seem to really work on my AMD R9 285. Further testing later today after work.

I'm well chuffed that I can finally return. Ive really missed the game, especially after having a 3week xmas holiday and not being able to play it.
Ive missed so much new since and I havent been able to do anything with the 'Wing' and feel like ive slightly let them down after joining.
I need now to find out what Ive missed in the 5mnths Ive been forced into exile for daring to buy an R9 390X 8Gb.

Excellent stuff, thanks Vespyr.
Getting great performance now in SuperCruise, about 90-100 fps @ 1440p on Ultra setting with my R9 290,
the previous driver only managed 10-15 fps in some locations!
I'll probably turn VSync back on after a bit more testing, but it's a massive improvement.
