I currently have an ASUS 3gb 7950 but due to my 3 screen setup FPS isn't what it could be, i only get 30-40 FPS on medium settings.

so, after giving it a lot of thought i've finally decided to take the plunge and buy a second card for crossfire.

I managed to find one on ebay from Italy for £146, not the cheapest but the only one available that was a definite match for my current card (V2) and also new (other - the box has been opened) considering i paid £250 for the original card under £150 seems like a good price to me. :)

having planned to go the crossfire route when i built my PC my power supply is an 850 watt, power is not going to be a problem for me :)

the only problem i have is explaining to my landlady why the rent is going to be £100 short this month, but I've been 3 months behind in the past and managed to catch up so i cant see it being that much of an issue :P

here's hoping they nail down the problems with crossfire in B3 as i'm looking forwards to a nice big FPS bump when my new card arrives 8-)

this leaves me with a spare card if anyone needs a cheap one, i have a 6570 in that i use for my TV output but i have a feeling that with each of the 79's taking up 3 slots i wont have room for a 3rd card, its not really up to spec for playing ED with but if anyone wants it for a general use machine let me know and i'll see what kind of deal we can do, i'm thinking somewhere in the region of £40 inc P&P if your in the uk.

Good luck on the Crossfire. Let us know how it works out. Interesting to know if support is up to scratch.

You should start a "Multicoloured Swap Shop" thread in Off Topic. That would be kind of cool. :)
