FWIW, that version didn't change anything to the FPS with my GTX770 (downsampling from 2880x1800 to 1920x1200).

I imagine that you're getting a solid 60 fps with v-sync on already, right? So it's capped.

It's capped in space, yes, but not in stations where I'm still getting around 45 FPS.

Hm. Ok, I thought the 770 could run the game at full pelt at that resolution. What processor you got?

Odd. I have the same CPU as you (minus the K), and same screen resolution. Only difference is I've got a 780. Didn't think it was that much faster. I'm running at a steady 60 fps v-synced no matter where I am, settings maxed. Oh well. Further optimization from FD should bring you up to speed I hope. :)

Edit: Do you have many other programs running while playing?

Awesome controllers. Are you happy with them?

Well, as I said, that's downsampling from 2880x1800 to 1920x1200. If I run it in 1920x1200, I have up to 90 FPS in stations and 170 in space. But I hate jaggies. :) That being said, I just found out that things improved at some point and I can now downsample from 2500x1600 with a very good result and around 60FPS in station and 90 in space. So I'll keep that for now. Still too many jaggies at 1920x1200, as the TrackIR tends to make them more visible.

Edit: Do you have many other programs running while playing?

No, usually only Xion Portable player in addition to the TrackIR and the X-55 software. I tried with the TrackIR off, and that made no difference at all.

Yeah, very happy. They're probably not the smoothest, but they have lots of buttons and hats, and the software makes it all very flexible (although it's not what I call intuitive). :)

Ah, that explains it. :)

Mm. Have read quite a bit on the x55 and the x52pro. Pros and cons on both, but I think I prefer the visuals of the x52pro. Don't have any cash to splash at the moment though, so I'm banking on winning a pair in the Assist Off competition... :P
