T-Flight HOTAS X Question

Ordering one from Amazon in the next day or two and there is one question I can not find a good answer on. How long is the usb cable? My setup is the widescreen TV in the living room and I would prefer not to sit right on top of it and also not have the cable strung in the to where I am sitting. Just wondering if I should get a USB extension cable as well. Was hoping one of you guys/gals that have one could tell me the length. I have seen anything from 4 to 8 feet on Amazon's reviews and else where.

I believe the cable is 8 ft long? Thats normally good enough for PC use but if you're using a tv in your main room thats at a fair distance to say, the couch, then you might wanna get an extension cable while you're at it, just to be safe.
Im also going to be getting one soon (next week actually as a birthday gift) but a few friends have had it and they all said generally the cable is about 7-8 ft long

I was using the T-Flight. I don't recall the cable being as long as 7-8 feet although it's certainly longer than on the X52.
Get the extension.

Just measured mine - it's 2.5m, which is 8ft 2½inches for the non-decimalled. 5m extension cables are available.
