Voice Attack with USB Audio Interface?

I am interested in trying out Voice Attack with KICS or Astra. I searched high and low (more or less) if there are any issues with using the microphone input from a USB Audio Interface. In my case it's a Focusrite Scarlet 2i2

I know some applications are a bit "dodgy" with information about this. For example I can get Skype or Teamspeak to work with my SM58 XLR microphone, but only on Input 1 of my interface. That would suffice, if Voice Attack works the same way.

I do have a headset which is connected to the onboard soundcard of my PC, but I have no intentions to switch audio devices all the time or to play Elite with headset only...

Has anybody experience with Voice Attack and audio interfaces? Any info would be much appreciated.

Take care!

PS: probably just downloading the trial and trying it out might be the best option anyway...

My headset is usb input (although it's not in the same league) and had no problems what so ever, as long as windows recognizes the microphone it 'should' work.

Downloading the trial and just giving it a go is my recommended solution.

I have a regular Medusa headset and a Medusa 5.1 USB headset. Works perfectly with both. I have both Astra and Kics but I ended up with Kics because i prefer her voice

Result: Works just fine. If you have multi-channel interface (like mine has two inputs) just make sure you use the first available input :)
