Cool, that was my question and concern with it too. Might have to go down that route...I'm getting achey shoulders with the hotas up on the desk. :-)


Highly recommend it. Was sceptical about the velcro tape myself but as it was sold on the same site I thought sod it why not, and very glad I went for it now as there's no movement on the bases at all. £44 well spent.

What about weight?

Not that I'll be getting this, as I modded my desk as in the photo - but an X52 weighs very little and the Warthog weighs a lot more. Come to that - how would it stand up to some of the juddery thuds of the G940, too?

All things to bear in mind, if your HOTAS sin't a chunk of light plastic ;)

Can't say for sure as I don't own a heavier HOTAS but the Vesa mounts are solid metal and feel very sturdy so I reckon this set up would work with them as well.
