Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi,
Posted on the bug forum, no reply yet...Perhaps someone here can help.
Tried updating to 1.2.07, the updated process runs fine, at the end i get this message:
Update failed for file
D:\EDLaunch\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1002\Win32\Items\Ships\Shared\Cockpit_Chair (validation error)
Tried updating with antivirus software off, same error.

I had a similar issue with 1.2.06 but with the main data.ovl file and ended up with d/l that file from the forum after which the update process worked.

I don't feel like uninstalling right now
Any and all help appreciated.

I would try Options > Validate Game Files from the launcher. That would re-download only the files that are corrupted.

You have to login first before you will see it.

I Know. thats whats so weird about it...
The option to validate the game files just isn't there, all I have is:
Log Out
Log Out Machine
Check for game updates
Enable cache check
Enable virtual cache
Dsiplay hardware survey
Upload hardware survey
Uninstall game
Select Language

Oh! That's weird indeed. Could that be a permissions problem? I'd suggest you to try launching the launcher as admin.

Allready tried that, same result.
Submitted a ticket.

Yes. On top of the existing launcher.
I Wonder if I shpuld have uninstalled it first?

I know you don't want to but I think you're probably going to have to uninstall the whole game and reinstall it.
