Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi, I want to upgrade the FSD of my ASP Explorer, form what I have understand is that :
1. You need 1 MEta-Alloy for the enginner to craft you the upgrade.
2. Material needed, in my case I have this


My question is : Where do I find this materials?
Do I need something more?

No.
That's for a one shot synthesis boost.

The one meta alloy is to unlock Farseer as an engineer. a one time affair.

Materials is found all over the place.
In signal sources, dropped from npc's.
By scanning npc's cruise wakes etc etc.
As well as spelunking around planets.

Learning to use the SRV, cargo scoop and collection limpits will be your friend in this endeavour.
Unlike before you don't have to pick and choose what you collect you can simply grab everything until you fill up.
This will also give you stuff to trade with so you can exchange the bits you need for bits you don't.

it has it's uses.

And all the bits for it found by shooting rocks on surfaces..

That can get tedious though..

One side effect or use, is that it works by increasing range for X amount of fuel.
I have had a couple of occasions where applying a synth boost has allowed me to make a jump I normally wouldn't have had enough fuel for, and thus save my bacon.
