Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Recently I got a invite form an engineer, in game, travelled to his locations, clicked the "engineer..." button and then could not find what to do. It was a button "Donate" in red and said something about upgrades. Could not fiond an edge.
My question is what must I do in order to upgrade my mods?
Is somethign special?
Why also Frontier doesn't give a clue more? Why should I ask people all the time for simple stuff?

The engineer is Felicity Farseer.

You need 1 ton of metalloys to unlock the services of Felicity Farseer. The easiest way to get it is to buy this rare commodity at Darnielle's Progress a planetary outpost on Maia A2a in the Maia system.
