C3 turreted pulse lasers mod?

I am using a Type-10 with 2 C3 beam turrets and 2 C3 pulse turrets. The rest is 2 C2 multis, 1 C2 seekers, and 2 C1 rails.

I decided to mod the beams to be efficient with thermal vent, but what should I put on the pulses?

Some people suggest long range, but I find that over 4 km the turrets miss a lot.

I looked at weapon focused which increase armor penetration and fall-off range, but I'm but sure.

In your opinion, what would be a good mod for large turreted pulse lasers?

Lasers have a damage falloff start at 500m. Past that distance, damage decreases pretty dramatically. Personally i still go for long range just to push that limit so that they do max damage at their full range.
Just a grade 1 long range is enough to me for that effect

Yes, I thought about the same thing.
But grade 5 focused almost doubles that to about 1000m. Factoring in hull hardness of an Anaconda, the break even distance between long range and focused is about 1900m. Before that, focused does more damage.

I ended up with focused for now. The large turrets mostly miss above 2500m anyway
