Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi! I've been doing Road to Riches and I finally got my explorer ship upgraded to AspEx. Now I want to upgrade from a Viper III for bounty hunting resource sites, as well. I have 30 million credits to spare. I'd greatly appreciate suggestions for ship type to use, and/or links to good builds! Thanks for any advice you can help me with

Imperial Courier is a nice combat ship better with some engineered mods.

Vulture.

Can elaborate.

Fully A rated if costs about 20 mil.
The usual, D sensor and life support.
Run class 3 pulse lasers to start.
Once you get enough engineering done and unlock Broo with the efficient beams, nothing will beat two class 3 beam lasers at efficient 5 and thermal vent effect.
You will also need to overcharge the power plant to make the power requirements to fit.
Don't worry you will unlock that engineer on the way to unlocking Broo.

But as always first upgrade FSD and dirty drives at Farseer.

Even without engineering the Vulture is an anaconda hunter in res sites.
Only thing it needs to be carefull against are FAS's with wing support.

And with res's I mean Haz res, no need to splash in the kiddy pool with a vulture.
The courier is fun yes, and it's got great shields but it truly lacks the weaponry to do much more than a viper.

Thanks! I think after I explore a bit more to replenish my funds, I'll start working on engineers. I have Farseer and McQuinn unlocked already, but have none of the mats needed, lol.

Well Tor, if not for the fact that your correct about the Vulture Weapons and maneuverability, I would disagree with you. Always difficulty hunting big ships with 3 Medium Hard Points no matter what you have on them. As said the Courier can adapt to many tasks even with some PA's and Rails it is still a little behind in the punishment department but lighter on the wallet. I have two one for CZONES and the other more speed.

The Vulture is always the RES Kings, for some reason I drifted away from her (still have one engineered) when I started doing Mass Kills in CZ with the FDL.

Never used the Vulture myself but here's a quick engineered build i would use, 16.8 mil purchase cost.
