Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

I cannot scan the data points, I have forgotten how. I drive up to them, they raise and activate, I target them and get the < > at the top, but I cannot get move the target reticle up so I can scan it. If I am lucky enough to have a hill in the right place, I can stop the SRV so that the < > and sight are on the top of the beacon and scan it, however, this is not how it should be done. Basically, how do I move the target recticle up down left right so I can target it.

You need to go to turret view in the SRV. By default, that is the same key you use to deploy/retract hard points in your ship.

Make sure your turrets gun is fully charged....that was the solution when it happened to me
