Undoubtedly I'm missing something obvious in the settings, but when I enter free camera mode in my SRV, the SRV accelerates even if my throttle was set to zero.

How do I stop this happening?

Dunno mate...

There was a lot of crap in early beta with the camera bindings being linked to and not independent from the normal throttle bindings......

But I guess you know that.......

Maybe a camera setting or what ever set to full range and not forward only ??....

Not in game so can't look......

Only way I have found for the srv not to power on forward is to hold the handbrake button.
But oh glory, if you switch to free cam, that button isn't received and the buggy flies off the cliff....

Thanks FD.

If you're on a PC and you're going into Control Alt space to get into your camera once you're in there you hit a zero on your keyboard and then hit the spacebar it will disconnect your camera from the object then you can move around it all you want. I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about. If not just ignore me LOL. Cmdr valcatta out.

Set a the SRV handbrake mode to toggle and assign a button for the handbrake. Hit that button before you enter free camera. Works quite nicely on my T16000M.
