Its done that flash since Horizons dropped. It does it even when above the planet in normal space and a POI pops below you.

Yep, its just me as per usual I guess. I've never experienced it personally. I've used an R9 280, a GTX 970 and now the GTX 1070. Switched to the 970 when AMD released the crimson drivers, right when they fixed that supercruise bug is the day I got the 970 in the mail heh.

Maybe it is a gsync thing? That is the only thing I have that is different than most.

I'm not the brightest bulb in the pack, but I just put 2 and 2 together and realized that I've only been flying these planetary missions for the last 2-3 weeks. Before that it was orbital outpost missions and mining, or flying out to Colonia. And before that I've barely played for months and months and almost never did missions. It's no wonder I'm just really noticing these problems that only seem to manifest themselves while landing on dark sides of planets. :roll:
It's time to give this another go.
