Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi

As we all know if you see a moon/planet with a blue semi-circle around it, it means you can land. But since installing the Engineers update I have found a moon with a red semi-circle around it. What does that mean?

Interesting, not seen that. Going out on a limb, but I guess it means it's locked in some way, maybe you need a permit or invite or something like that?

Did you try landing on it?

I haven't tried landing on it but I'll give it a go once I am back. I just need to pop to the store.

It's the moon Triton in Sol that I see the red band around.

I'm not seeing it myself, Triton has an atmosphere and so is unlandable.

I can see the red semicircle in the system map, the info lists it as having no atmosphere

Arg, I was looking at Titan, I always get those 2 mixed up. Yes, I see it too.

I found out what it means. It means a permit is required to land there. I discovered that when trying to target the moon via the "1" console.

ooow, I wonder why, what secret thing is happening on Triton? Interesting.
