Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Sorry to be starting so many threads, but I'm a total noob (currently ranked only Competent-Broker-Trailblazer) compared to most of you guys and learned 90% of what I know now in just being around 2 weeks here.

So ... I've made Delkar my home for most of my Elite career, While I earned my initial 10-15M largely trading, I've been mining Delkar 7 and selling in the surrounding areas since. They are either Federation allied (currently Petty Officer in the Auxiliary) or I've become friendly or allied with various, minor factions on their own. Because such, barring needing a higher trading rank, I can off-load Osmium, Platinum and Painite for 60-100K/ton with regularity.

Being that I'd like to get closer to Azrael ... is there any system closer to Azrael but near Federation space and influence, that has a Prestine Metallic Ring for mining? I assume not, but I haven't explored much. At most I found a Major Reserves, Metal Rich ring.

In addition to random exploring, I've gone through some of these Prestine systems on the Wikia page, and it seems Delkar is one closest to Sol. In addition to the Sol permit, I also have the Alioth permit (via Alioth Independents) so I guess I could start over. Although I do plan on eventually ranking up in the Federation to get the Corvette as well.

As always, looking for suggestions from those of you who have been around. What systems are you mining, if any, while staying closer to Azrael, and do they have many factions aligned with the Federation?

There are a few 25-45ly closer with some interesting quirks I might try out. Now just need to figure out if any are as close to Federation influence.

Not sure how close it is to Fed space, but Jura is the closest system that I am aware of in the Azrael area. The pristine metallic ring is at Jura 7.

In the past, other group members have mentioned mining at HIP 1933, HIP 15868, HIP 21991 but I have not confirmed any information about those systems.

Thanx to Cometborne, I've headed over to GCRV 1568 in Li Yong-Rui space. It's surrounded by Federation friendly territory, including two (2) Li Yong-Rui discounted shipyards and outfitters at Lembava and Met 20 at only 10.77 and 10.19ly, respectively.

I haven't done much resource selling yet, but I don't think I'll get the Empire types of prices and regular Bulletin Board sales, as it's farther away from Empire space. I'll let you know how it goes, but I think it'll be ideal as I slowly improve the outfitting of my Python.

Really like mining the inner-most ring of GCRV 1568 AB1 more than Delkar prior. Rocks are packed in closer together.

GCRV 1568 AB1 is proving to be a Painite (pun)Gold(pun) Mine at the innermost of the ring, 3-4Mm closer to the planet from the Haz RES.

I also like the number of systems and stations within 10ly that constantly have bulletin board missions for Osmium, Platinum and Painite. I'm slowly getting "Friendly" and "Allied" with various independents, beyond the Federation-aligned ones that I get automagically.

I also cannot believe I'm saying this, but ... "I can never find enough Osmium for the bulletin board missions!" Osmium is at more of a premium in GCRV 1568 AB1 than Delkar 7, as I mine 3-4 times as much Platinum and Painite.

Still only a "Broker" though, slowly growing and nearing 50% to "Entrepreneur," which opens more doors.
