X-52 Pro noggin-scratcher. Any ideas?

In the X-52 Pro control panel, they show as working properly.

In my controls options, they are still bound correctly, and their keyboard alternates work fine.

But in-game, my mouse wheel (scanner zoom) mouse button (deploy hardpoints) & right mouse button (cycle fire groups) do absolutely S.F.A. :(

Have tried in 32 & 64 bit modes, and Open/Solo/Group.

The only thing I've done since last night is copy my 'OpenTrack' folder from E: to D: (Where ED is installed) (but deleting it again didn't help) & a re-boot after Chrome froze up trying to play a FB vid.

(OpenTrack doesn't work since 1.5 either, but I've PM'd the dev about that)

Any ideas from the super-geeks here?

I have the X-52 Pro as well.

You mean the small button next to the rubber knob? If so, it works for me, but very intermittently (It's my reverse button). I have found that all the buttons that relate to mouse functions are a bit dodgy when it comes to actually having a reliable press.

The zoom you could just change to the wheel around the E or (I) button. I would also try binding the action with your mouse, not the buttons on the hotas. See if that helps.

Do you have the X52 Pro Programming software installed? If so, are those buttons marked set as DEFAULT or Fallback? Mine are all set to Fallback and all of them work.

Yeah, it's sorted now.

Not for the first time, the Saitek software decided to 'forget' which custom profile to load. I didn't spot it this time 'coz the MFD is now obscured by my smartphone (Thanks to Roccat PowerGrid, it's now my 'extra control panel', for power macros, docking requests etc.)

The mouse-related controls, as they are so different from the 'default' ones, were the ones to be worst affected.

Still no luck on either the mouse thumbstick or OpenTrack though :(
