Hello cmdrs,
Today something odd has happened to me whilst i was hunting in a res with my new FDL.

I had some bad word with a deadly Clipper and i was shield down at 68%... now my loadout has a little peculiar as i have to jump some modules to use SCB, so as soon the clipper pop my shields come online and i active SCB.... My KWS and life support go offline and i start to recharge my shield... well.. at that point i head : "eject, eject" and my ship just pop... at 68% of hull ???

That maybe as my PP was badly hit and as soon i hit the SCB is collapsed...

Is something like this happened to someone >>??

thats my loadout:

There should only be 2 ways your ship can blow while you have 68% hull left.

Power plant 0%

or

Life Support 0:00 (Usually this would happen after you run out of fuel, but if you've set Life Support to a power group that makes it shut down some of the time, you might have run out of oxygen without realizing it was getting low)

I just realized that the life support does not replenish the oxygen..... as i was guessing, is just a reserve... so the second time that i had used it i just died .... XD

Ouch, heh.

Well then, you may want to do some more adjusting of your power priority groups.

A lot of people who are pushing the limits of their available power decide to put their Shield Cell Banks in the higher groups (3/4/5) so that they shut off when hardpoints deploy but come back on after retracting. This means you have to retract and wait a second for power levels to change before you can trigger an SCB, but it frees up more power for weapons and your shield generator. And in your case, you're not dipping into your emergency O2 reserve when you need to SCB.

If you're familiar with Coriolis' power schemes, here is one example of a retract-to-SCB setup.
