Do ships develop quirks?

I'm wondering if FD got a little sneaky or something. Flying an Asp, loving it as a trade vessel. But, every so often, when I put the landing gear down and come to a full stop on a pad, as soon as my throttle is at zero - the thrusters kick into full ahead. Makes landing a treat.
Windows 7 PC, X52 Pro HOTAS.
And... it ONLY happens in the Asp.
Or maybe I'm just nuts.

Could more likely be a glitch in the throttle/drivers that leads it to bitflip the signal so it interprets it as a Max throttle event when you slam the throttle far enough down.
Then again, check your ships integrity and make sure no modules are damages, although if you repair all when docked you shouldn't have module damage.
For ship integrity you have to open the repair option in stations not just clicking the repair all button, its not that easy to see in the top right if that window (above the regular module list)

Heh... I had an Asp that developed a quirk, it would deploy lasers and fire them...
Luckily never happened when docking, but I also wondered at the time if they'd added quirks in. The only thing I could find is that the wear and tear was massive on the ship when it did it (back when they were still balancing it), the laser itself was at 100% though.

The only thing I think they really tweaked was how to calculate the costs of the integrity and the cost itself, but it wouldn't be entirely improbable that low ship integrity causes abhorrent behaviour.
We know modules will do so once they become damaged below a certain point.
