Start-Private Groups menu not populating

Just ran into something like this Known Issue:
"Wings
• After being invited to join a private group and leaving the invite idle, the menu Private Group GUI may display incorrectly as “Cancel” "I don't even think I had any invites to anything
I had just invited someone who was offline though.
Looks like I'll be in Solo until they get it fixed.

Had something similar, only cancel was showing for groups list. a simple restart helped in my case.

One restart didnt help me, but it was fixed by FD or sorted itself out overnight. I'm back

I think mine had something to do with inviting an offline member to my private group.
When I couldn't get the menu, I panicked and disbanded the group. It didn't help immediately, but I don't know, it might have had something to do with being able to get the menu again after I logged for the night.

Update - I just caught this bug AGAIN, but this time made sure to try relogging and when I came back, the menu worked.
Exit game, exit launcher, relaunch, log in, play. that's all I did.

The bug is triggered by going into the friends and group management. If you start the game without going into the friends and groups, it works.

That's why I have been having trouble (going into the friends menu each time). I am surprised FD have not sorted that out yet, they have had plenty of opportunity.
