Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Bought a Eagle yesterday ang tooled it up. Went into the Federal Distress Signal. Brought up my weapons and Life Support switched off. Put my guns away and Oxygen returned. Someone on the Frontier Forum mentioned the same thing happening. Finally managed to sell the Eagle after many attempts.

I recall the same in 1.06

I had no such problem with Eagle, but I also watched very carefully my power amount/distribution, Eagle has pretty tight limits for it. It seems to me that you loaded simply too much power consuming components to your Eagle and when weapons started to be used, there was not enough power and system turned of other components by priority.

Ok. I'll have to suss that out then. Trouble is, being Avago-Earo, it's just 'press and see'. I guess I'll have to pay more attention to the weapons stats before purchasing (I don't know what the capital letters stand for though; class?). (think) I know on the modules panel you can adjust power consumption so I suppose that would have to be taken into account (correct me if I'm wrong).

Oh dear, Avago is going to have to think about stuff before blaming his tools.

That's why I mounted class 2 weapons on class 4 hard points when I had a Viper.....

One was the power drain of class 4 lasers and two was the weight, which limited the jump range to 6 inches.....

With all the data and upgrades available now...You will have to read the info and make your choices.....

Ah well. Back to the drawing board.

Seams you need to buy a better power module so it can support all the weapons
