Should the cages covering the docking ports at stations go?

And no, I am not advocating their removal because I crash into them every time I try to dock manually....

I just don't see the point in them.

Is it my imagination, or has the annoying magnetic, funnel everyone into the centre so they can crash, effect been removed?

I don't mind the toast rack, personally. It just makes me get lined up a little earlier while still outside the station.

Never had any trouble until I read this. The next thing that happened was that I was captured by the cage, got down to 90% hull before getting out of it. :D

Advice: Disable FA and set engine to idle.

I don't mind the toast rack.

It aids in lining up, creates the nested box effect when square on, so for me it helps.

Should they get rid if it, no I don't think so. It's part of the design.

Perhaps they should attach the skeletons of exeuted pirates to some of them :)

If the toast rack wasn't there then this could happen;?

You exit the station and another ship ploughs into your ship from below/above as they are pitching close to the entrance before straightening up. Also ships could just fly really close to the entrance and block it. Don't know if this would really be a problem though as I only gave it a few seconds thought 'it must be there for a reason...hmm...', as I can't get into the game and haven't got any friends and just want to talk to someone.
