SRV Scoop bug only 1 item?

Does anyone have this issue? just makes it hard to farm the materials for engineering, here's the bug in the issue tracker, can anyone vote up? though I doubt Frontier will do anything about it soon.

It is a pain, as well as logging to reset the bug, including rinse and repeat to continue farming. To reset the scoop some players are boarding their ships as an alternative to logging. I tried turning the cargo scoop's power off/on and unbinding it, both failed. I landed to investigate a nonhuman signature source which I thought was an unusual occurrence 28000LY out. After locating 4 senors fragments (I had 5) I notice after collecting 3 then log 4 were still on the surface bored I logged and stopped after collecting 50 which I do not require.
Must not be an easy fix or it would be done. Scooping MATS is common.
